About

By day I am a professor and love teaching but at night I am a hobby gunsmith. Growing up on a ranch in cattle country in Southwestern Saskatchewan, I developed an interest and appreciation for the history of our country. Now I restore and build black powder rifles, mostly flintlocks and single shot rifles from the 1870’s. As an active member of our local black powder club, the Saskatoon Muzzleloading Club, I have a great time shooting and visiting with friends at our events.

Let’s build something together.
